Hulderheimen

The Hulderheimen Cultural Centre was opened in 1989 and is based on the old legends surrounding Hulderberget Mountain in Finnsæter. The exterior design pays homage to a Portuguese sailing ship that was wrecked off the coast of Senja late in the 18th century. Inside you'll find cosy lounges with seating for 110. They each depict historical times and events from around Senja. The café is fully licensed and serves coffee, cakes and other things. There's also a gift shop, Troll and jewellery shop, Pewter Smith, Gallery and Norway's largest collection of mugs. The Centre is also available for private functions and events.
